Prince William sings Sweet Caroline then celebrates with Aston Villa stars in dressing room after reaching Europa final
PRINCE William was seen belting out Sweet Caroline and celebrating wildly as his beloved Aston Villa thumped Nottingham Forest to reach the Europa League final.
He then joined the players in the DRESSING ROOM to carry on the celebrations.
The Villans superfan looked delighted as his boyhood club scored four without conceding at Villa Park on an historic night in Birmingham.
The Prince of Wales was seen chatting to Villa boss Unai Emery and England manager Thomas Tuchel ahead of the big game before taking his place in the stands.
He was spotted tensely watching the game as Villa tried to overcome their 1-0 first leg deficit.
The Prince appeared to relax when Ollie Watkins levelled the tie in the first half.
But when Emi Buendia scored Villa’s second from the spot, the future King was filmed leaping from his chair and pumping his fists in the air – with Villa going on to win the tie 4-0 on the night.
Manager Unai Emery will now be looking to add to his four Europa League titles when his side faces Freiburg in Istanbul on May 20.
Prince William got involved with the post-match celebrations, singing Neil Diamond’s 1969 classic Sweet Caroline while dancing with other jubilant supporters.
It was later revealed he headed to the dressing room after the match.
Emery told reporters: “We spoke to the Prince William. Yes, yes, yes.
“He was in the dressing room with the players and with me. And of course, he’s so happy as well.”
The future King has previously shown himself to be a song and dance fan, and was spotted going wild and showing off his moves at a Taylor Swift concert in 2024.
He was seen celebrating his 42nd birthday at the Wembley Stadium gig with children Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
The royal trio also posed for selfies with the pop superstar and her American football player boyfriend Travis Kelce.
Footage posted on social media showed the Prince of Wales dancing in the crowd among thousands of roaring Swifties.
He is seen – dressed in a buttoned down shirt and blazer – swaying his arms as he gets into the music on the terrace.
The video, filmed by someone on a lower tier shows Swift on the stage in the distance as she performs Shake It Off before panning round to William shaking his arms and torso.
The post adds: “Prince William being a 1989 girlie is taking me OUT.”
Other royal fans hailed Wills for his moves, one wrote: “Loving the enthusiasm! Taylor really is for everyone. Haha!!”
“He’s a Prince but he’s a King for that,” added another.
