💃 Strictly Come Dancing fans are in shock after reports claimed Emma Willis and Zoe Ball are set to become the show’s brand-new hosting duo. ❤️🔥

After months of chaos, rumours and behind-the-scenes auditions, the BBC is said to have chosen Emma, 50, as one of the fresh faces to front the beloved ballroom competition in what insiders are calling the beginning of a “new era” for the show.

According to reports, Emma impressed executives during secret chemistry tests and dress rehearsals held in London after several big names either turned the role down or failed to convince bosses. One insider claimed: “Emma has been offered the Strictly job and is going to accept. She absolutely nailed the chemistry tests and the BBC adore her.”

The source added that the broadcaster sees Emma as “a safe pair of hands” capable of steering the hugely popular programme through one of the biggest shake-ups in its history. “She’s incredibly popular with the public too and will suit the role down to a tee. She was absolutely thrilled to have been offered the job,” the insider said.

Reports also suggest Zoe Ball is expected to join Emma as the second presenter, although the BBC has so far refused to officially confirm the line-up. A spokesperson told reporters: “Plans for Strictly Come Dancing 2026 will be confirmed in due course.”

Emma is already one of Britain’s most recognisable TV personalities thanks to her work on Big Brother, The Voice UK and Love Is Blind: UK, which she hosts alongside husband Matt Willis.

The battle to replace Tess and Claudia reportedly became so intense that BBC bosses organised secret auditions with strict NDAs, live bands and full-scale rehearsal setups to test potential presenters. Among the stars believed to have made the final shortlist were Rylan Clark, Tom Allen and Alex Jones.

Meanwhile, the show itself is also undergoing a major overhaul. Several professional dancers including Gorka Marquez, Karen Hauer and Nadiya Bychkova have reportedly been axed in what fans branded a “bloodbath”.

Despite the dramatic changes, familiar judges Shirley Ballas, Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse and Anton du Beke are all expected to return.

Claudia recently admitted the sparkle of the show had begun to fade for both her and Tess after years at the helm. Reflecting on her exit, she confessed: “Strictly deserves change,” while admitting the pair had reached a point where the excitement no longer felt the same.
