A WOMAN’S body has been discovered near ta major A-road with four people arrested on suspicion of murder.

Three men and a woman have been arrested after the body was discovered in Milton, Nottinghamshire, at 3.12am on Friday.

A 60-year-old woman and three men aged 37, 42, and 64, have reportedly been taken into custody.

Detective Chief Inspector Ruby Burrow, from the East Midlands Special Operations Unit, said: “We are in the early stages of our investigation and are working to establish the circumstances of this incident.

“This will impact on traffic on the A1 so we apologise for any inconvenience caused.”

Police are appealing for information to the public to come forward with any information that could assist this investigation by calling 101 and quoting incident 18 of 20 March 2026.
