Having wowed her fans with a striking new look last month ahead of her 65th birthday, Susan Boyle’s transformation into a glamorous influencer shows absolutely no signs of letting up. The West Lothian-born singer rocketed to stardom after triumphing in the third series of Britain’s Got Talent in 2009, and by 2021 had shifted an impressive 25 million records.

Susan recently posted a photo of herself wearing a football shirt and sporting a blonde makeover on Instagram. Posing confidently with her hands on her hips, the image prompted masses of her 179,000 followers to voice their shock at how she appears to be “ageing backwards”.

“I’ve loved putting this together and I hope you’ll find something you like,” she said as she unveiled several images of her product line, which includes mugs, hats and T-shirts.

Susan added on her birthday (April 1): “There are also more exciting items on the way, so do keep an eye on the shop over the coming days. Thank you for all the love you’ve shown me today and over the years. It truly means everything to me, and this felt like a lovely way to celebrate together.”

With items priced between £13 and £50, Susan stands to earn a tidy sum from sales, further bolstering the considerable fortune she has amassed over the past 17 years.

One delighted customer commented on the merch drop: “Just ordered my tote bag! Can’t wait for it to arrive.”

While another fan declared: “Buying the absolute lot!”

With new music on the way – her first since the coronavirus pandemic – Susan has been spotted spending time with a host of celebrities, ranging from BGT co-host Ant McPartlin to fellow musicians Lewis Capaldi and Sam Fender.

During Oasis’ comeback tour in Edinburgh last year, Liam Gallagher even dedicated Stand By Me to Susan, who responded with delight, saying: “Thanks so much for the dedication Liam Gallagher. You’ve made this old girl’s day. Hope to see you and the rest of Oasis at Wembley in September for a wee bit of Poznan. Big love to you all.”

Meanwhile, while doing press for his latest film Marty Supreme, Timothée Chalamet also gave Susan a namecheck during an interview.

When asked by the BBC to name his favourite Brits, he replied: “Oh man, what a great question. Lewis Hamilton, Victoria and David Beckham, [rapper] Fake Mink. And Susan Boyle.
