GREENVILLE, N.C. (WNCT) — Sam Jones, the owner of Sam Jones BBQ in Greenville, will appear on tonight’s episode of “Top Chef” on Bravo, which will focus on North Carolina barbecue traditions.
According to a press release, Jones will appear alongside host and judge Kristen Kish. He served his Eastern North Carolina chopped whole hog barbecue to the contestants and then was a guest judge.
Jones’ restaurants have garnered national recognition and acclaim, and last year, Sam Jones BBQ was one of only seven North Carolina restaurants to earn the Bib Gourmand designation in the inaugural edition of the MICHELIN Guide to the American South.
The episode “Going Whole Hog” will air at 9:30 p.m. EST tonight on Bravo.
