Pete Wicks just confirmed that For Dogs’ Sake is officially coming back for Season 4—and fans are already emotional 😭 But things got spicy when he jokingly called Alison Hammond’s ITV show his “enemy” 👀

Pete Wicks has confirmed that his award-winning series For Dogs’ Sake is officially returning for a fourth season — and this time, there’s even a cheeky twist involving his so-called “TV rival” Alison Hammond.

The former TOWIE star, who first launched the emotional documentary in January 2025 while volunteering at Dogs Trust rehoming centres, revealed that filming for the new series will begin in just weeks. After three successful seasons and a TV Choice Award win, the show has become a fan favourite for its raw, emotional look at rescue dogs and the people who care for them.

Speaking on his podcast Staying Relevant alongside Sam Thompson, Pete shared the update in his usual candid style, saying he’s about to dive straight back into filming. He joked that Battersea is currently working with Alison Hammond on For The Love Of Dogs, calling her his “enemy in the TV world” — before quickly adding that the rivalry is all in good spirit, insisting it simply highlights how “amazing these charities are.”

Despite the light-hearted competition, Pete’s series has stood out for its deeply emotional storytelling — something that has struck a chord with viewers across the UK.

One of the most heartbreaking moments came earlier in the show when Pete was left in tears after meeting Theo, an Italian Mastiff diagnosed with a serious heart condition. The young dog, already weakened by malnutrition and suffering from arrhythmia, was given just 12 months to live.

Clearly shaken, Pete struggled to hold back his emotions as he spent time with Theo, later admitting he felt completely helpless. He said he was heartbroken, describing the dog as beautiful, full of soul and personality, and someone who deserved a loving home. He added that he had completely fallen in love with Theo and wished there was something more he could do.

The emotional scene became one of the standout moments of the series, capturing the harsh realities behind rescue work — and why the show continues to resonate so strongly with audiences.

Off-screen, Pete’s personal life has also been making headlines, particularly his growing connection with Olivia Attwood following her split from Bradley Dack.

The pair recently sparked romance rumours after being spotted kissing in London, though they’ve kept things deliberately low-key. On their podcast, the two avoided directly addressing their relationship, instead joking about weddings — with Olivia hinting that if she were to marry again, she’d choose Las Vegas.

She admitted that after everything she’s been through, she wouldn’t bother with traditional hen or stag parties again, calling them “lame” and saying she’d already had the experience — and the “trauma” — once before.

Pete, playing along, joked about attending her hen do, while also revealing he has no plans for a stag party himself — though he teased organising one for Sam Thompson, hinting his friend might not be far off settling down.

While the romance continues to quietly unfold, it’s clear Pete’s biggest focus right now remains his work with rescue dogs — with series four promising even more emotional, real-life stories that have already made For Dogs’ Sake such a powerful hit.
