According to Page Six, the Duke of Sussex was overheard telling guests that Charles is “doing great.” The update comes two years after Buckingham Palace announced that the king, 77, had been diagnosed with cancer in 2024.

“During The King’s recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted,” the palace said in a statement at the time, per People. “Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer.”

The statement continued, “His Majesty has chosen to share his diagnosis to prevent speculation and in the hope it may assist public understanding for all those around the world who are affected by cancer.”

Last December, Charles shared a positive health update and said his cancer treatment would be “reduced.”

“Today I am able to share with you the good news that thanks to early diagnosis, effective intervention and adherence to ‘doctors’ orders,’ my own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the New Year,” he said.

Harry’s New York City outing came less than a week after he, Meghan Markle, Prince Archie, and Princess Lilibet reunited with Charles and Queen Camilla at Highgrove House on July 10. The visit marked the first time that the king had seen his grandchildren in four years.

However, photos from their reunion and additional details were not made public, as it was a “private family meeting,” per People.

During another conversation at the Time100 Sports Gala, Harry, 41, also shared an update on Markle and their children.
