Harper stepped out with a vintage Chanel bag worth thousands — but it was her four-word message to mum Victoria that really caught attention.

Harper Beckham cut a quietly confident figure as she stepped out in Paris with her famous family, striking a polished pose at a moment when the Beckham household remains locked in one of its most painful public crises.

The 14-year-old joined her parents and siblings in the French capital during Haute Couture Fashion Week, where her mother Victoria Beckham, 51, was awarded the prestigious Knight of the Order of Arts and Letters by the French Ministry of Culture.

Wrapped in a fluffy blue fur coat and dark jeans, Harper elevated her look with a 1990s vintage jumbo flap  Chanel  handbag, believed to be worth between £3,000 and £5,000 — a fashion moment that instantly turned heads.

But behind the Paris glamour lies deep family turmoil. The trip marked the Beckham clan’s first public appearance since Brooklyn Beckham unleashed a blistering statement accusing his parents of controlling his life, attempting to sabotage his marriage, and prioritising “Brand Beckham” above family love. He also claimed his brothers Romeo and Cruz had been “sent to attack him” on social media.

While Harper was notably absent from Brooklyn’s accusations, she has made her feelings clear in a subtle but powerful way. Praising her mother following the fallout, the teenager took to Instagram to share a photo of Victoria in Paris, writing just four words: “My biggest role model x.” The short message was widely seen as a quiet show of loyalty to her mum after Brooklyn’s attack.

The siblings were once inseparable, regularly posting playful snaps together online. However, sources say their bond has weakened since rumours of a family rift first surfaced last year, when Brooklyn and wife Nicola Peltz, 31, skipped David Beckham’s milestone birthday celebrations.

Nicola’s own emotional comments about Harper have also resurfaced amid the drama. The actress previously revealed she had always wanted a little sister, describing Harper as “the sweetest” and admitting the teenager used to send her Snapchat messages — making the current distance all the more heartbreaking.

Family games

Insiders claim Brooklyn is struggling to maintain a relationship with his younger sister and desperately misses her, but feels trapped by the situation as Harper lives with their parents. Despite the fallout, it is believed David Beckham and Victoria would “take Brooklyn back in a minute” if reconciliation were possible.

During her emotional acceptance speech in Paris, delivered with her family proudly watching on, Victoria thanked her children for “always believing in my vision” — a moment that took on extra weight given the raw accusations made against her days earlier.

Victoria was presented with the honour by French Culture Minister Rachida Dati, joining a distinguished list of previous recipients including Zoe Saldaña, Selena Gomez, Jude Law and Denis Villeneuve.

For now, Harper remains the silent figure in the middle — old enough to understand the fracture, young enough to be protected from it — her four-word tribute offering a rare glimpse into where her loyalties lie.
