Ella Toone has officially tied the knot with Joe Bunney, bringing a love story rooted in football, friendship and family to a beautiful new chapter.
The Manchester United and England midfielder said “I do” in the grounds of Colshaw Hall in Cheshire, where the couple celebrated their big day surrounded by loved ones. Joe, 32, looked equally smart in a white tuxedo, black bow tie and waistcoat as he stood by Ella’s side. The pair appeared relaxed and happy as they celebrated after five years together.
The day was also a Lionesses reunion, with Ella’s best friend and England teammate Alessia Russo taking on the special role of maid of honour. Joe, a former professional and current non-league footballer and coach, proposed in Ibiza last August in front of a dramatic archway of red roses. The romantic setup included a sign asking, “Will you marry me?”, and the couple later shared the happy news online with the message: “Forever.”
