Some Emmerdale fans think ruthless detective DS Walsh could be hiding a secret agenda after she targeted Moira Dingle, Bear Wolf and Paddy Dingle.
While some may argue she is only doing her job to solve crimes, viewers are adamant she’s doing a bit too much. Now, there’s a theory that Walsh may be connected to the recent criminal activity in the village.
Some fans have even questioned if she was ‘the big boss’ above villains Celia Daniels and Ray Walters, amid their drug dealing and human trafficking. She was adamant that Moira Dingle had killed Celia and exploited farm worker Anya.
Moira is innocent and had been framed, but Walsh seems insistent that Moira is guilty and should face justice. Now she’s turned her attentions to Paddy and Bear.

After Bear confessed to accidentally killing Ray in a showdown recently, he and Paddy have kept out the fact that Paddy and teenager Dylan Penders were involved in the cover-up. Not only has Walsh questioned if Bear’s version of events are legit, but she’s sure that Paddy helped his father.
Fans said she was “like a dog with a bone” as she’s continued to quiz Paddy, even searching for evidence in the vets he works in. She won’t drop it, and fans are starting to suspect there’s something corrupt about her behaviour.
Viewers are wondering if she was the big boss in the trafficking scandal, or perhaps she is linked to Celia. One fan said on social media: “DS Walsh is as bent as a piece of metal and out to get Bear at any cost.”

Another fan said: “That look she gave definitely something dodgy going on.” Another fan said: “I’ve been saying there’s something not right about her!”
A further fan posted: “She is trying a bit too much isn’t she. Maybe there’s pressure from high up or I saw a theory that she’s connected and so is trying to get them all sent down to cover her tracks.”
Similarly, people posted about her clear vendetta against innocent Moira. A fan said: “DS Walsh is/was a good friend of Celia’s, maybe?” as another wrote: “Yeah she’s a bent cop, probably in charge of the drugs in this storyline.”
Another fan posted: “DS Walsh has it in for Moira,” as a fan agreed: “She is dead set on Moira, could Joe be paying her, dirty copper?” A final post said: “I’m sensing the same thing but with Paddy and Bear like she’s desperate to have them both caught out and sent down.”
