Bobby Flay garnered attention when he shared a birthday message for his daughter Sophie Flay’s 30th birthday

Bobby Flay is celebrating his daughter’s milestone birthday.

Sophie Flay turned 30 on April 16, and the Beat Bobby Flay star took to Instagram to share a sweet tribute.

“Happy birthday to the best daughter ever. Love you @sophieflayabc . Looking forward to watching you as you enter this next decade xo,” the celebrity chef, 61, wrote.

Other Food Network personalities responded to the message, such as Sunny Anderson, who wrote, “Happy Birthday @sophieflayabc  you got only the best parts of your daddy!! and it’s a joy to watch you do your thing!!!

“The best!!!… happy bday SoFly!” wrote chef Michael Symon. And Carson Kressley, who appears with Bobby as a judge on BBQ Brawl, replied with four hearts.

Bobby’s girlfriend, Brooke Williamson, shared her own post honoring Sophie on her Instagram Stories, writing “Happy birthday @sophieflayabc!!!”

Williamson shared a photo in which she and Sophie sported matching denim jumpsuits at the Players Tailgate, a Super Bowl Sunday event.

Bobby, who shares Sophie with ex-wife Kate Connelly, frequently expresses pride over his daughter’s accomplishments.

n October, Sophie announced on Instagram that she accepted a new job in New York as an ABC News correspondent and an overnight anchor for World News Now and GMA First Look.

“Thank you, Los Angeles, for an amazing 11 years!” she wrote of her previous job as a general assignment reporter at ABC7 in Los Angeles.

“Proud as can be,” Bobby commented on the post. “Your work ethic and your desire to learn from your mentors has put you in this wonderful place of opportunity and importance. It’s a parent’s dream.”

The same month, Bobby weighed in on whether he’d compete with Sophie on Beat Bobby Flay during a Q&A session on Instagram.

When a fan asked “When are we going to see Sophie cook something???” he responded, “Ha. Don’t think she’s ready to compete yet..”
