Lorraine Kelly has taken a moment to thank her loyal fans as her ITV show goes off-air for a few weeks due to her illness. The beloved Scottish presenter, 66, opened up on Instagram, sharing a candid update with her 591k followers.

In an emotional video, Lorraine, who has been battling a severe illness, said, “Hi there! I just wanted to say thanks for all the get-well wishes. I’m feeling a whole lot better. But this has been a bad lurgy. If you’re going through it yourself, you have my sympathies. It’s a tough one, but I’m getting there.”

However, Lorraine clarified, “I will be off for a good few weeks. Not because I’m not well, but because there have been changes to the show. I now do 30 weeks a year. So I won’t see you for a wee while.”

She continued to express her gratitude to fans: “But I want to thank you for sticking with me through all the changes, and I hope to see you when I’m back on air.
