MOTHER CLAIMS SUSPECT IS THE VICTIM AFTER HE STOMPS FEMALES HEAD ON SIDEWALK..
The incident in East Harlem, which occurred around April 20, 2026, has indeed drawn massive public outcry following the release of a viral video showing a 14-year-old boy brutally attacking a 15-year-old girl.
The boy’s mother, Selma Allen, has publicly defended her son, claiming the victim was actually the one who had bullied him at school. Allen described her son as a “humble” and “quiet” boy, alleging that the victim shoved him first and that the attack was a “retaliation”.
However, the video and the victim’s family tell a very different story:
The Attack: Footage shows the boy confronting the girl at East 107th Street and Third Avenue. He allegedly blocked her path and threatened her after she refused to give him her phone number. When she tried to walk away, he slammed her to the pavement and stomped on her head.
The Injuries: The victim’s mother, Lucinda Arroyo, stated the attack left her daughter with a concussion, bleeding, and a potential brain injury. She described the incident as “outright assault” rather than mere bullying.
Legal Consequences: The 14-year-old was arrested on April 22 and charged with second-degree assault. He was remanded into custody following a family court appearance on April 23.
Public Reaction: Many are particularly outraged by the bystanders seen in the video, some of whom were recording the attack and even encouraging the boy.
While the boy’s mother claims to have footage of the girl pushing her son first, she has not yet produced it to support her claims.
