UNMASKED ON ITVX: THE COBBLES ARE ROCKING AS CARL’S SH0CK ATT.ACKER IS FINALLY REVEALED—AND IT’S NOT THE MAN EVERYONE SUSPECTED!

Coronation Street will reveal Carl Webster’s attacker tonight and it’s not who you, or Carl, thought it would be. Carl knows that Theo Silverton is responsible for Billy Mayhew’s death and, on Friday’s episode, he cut a deal with Summer Spellman.

Seeking justice for Billy and Todd Grimshaw, Summer promised to give Carl £10,000 if he could get concrete evidence proving that Theo was responsible for Billy’s death.

Knowing she couldn’t trust Carl, Summer only agreed to pay him when he brought her evidence that was good enough for the police.

Tonight (Sunday, April 19), Carl visits Summer in the corner shop and tells her he plans to get the evidence today but will be leaving Weatherfield straight after.

After asking for half the money in advance, Summer stands firm and reminds him she knows all he cares about is money and she won’t pay him until he gets the evidence.

In the street, Carl finds Theo having an altercation with Gary, who tells him that Todd is away for the weekend. Then in the Rovers, Theo tries to have a drink but gets angry when Gemma will not serve him.

When Theo leaves, Carl follows him out and try to goad him into a fight. Realising what Carl is doing, Theo issues a threat, that he’ll come for Carl when it’s dark.

Later, while Carl is walking back home in the dark he’s attacked from behind.

Thinking it must be Theo, he is shocked when he sees Ronnie standing over him and tells him: “It’s not supposed to be you!”

When Carl asks Ronnie: “Do you feel better now?” Ronnie simply replies: “Maybe.”
