Bobby Flay and Brooke Williamson’s chemistry was on full display while competing on Celebrity Family Feud.
Flay, with his daughter Sophie Flay and Bobby’s Triple Threat titans— Williamson, Michael Voltaggio and Ayesha Nurdjaja, competed against Fellow Food Network star Carla Hall during the Sept. 18 episode.
Towards the end of the foodies’ segment, host Steve Harvey asked the teams to “name something ugly you put on at night so you look beautiful in the morning.” While teammates Williamson and Nurdjaja answered correctly with face masks and hair curlers, when it was Bobby’s turn, he responded confidently, “Pajamas.”
Out of frame, Williamson can be heard saying, “What?!” before the camera pans to show her laughing with her face in her hands.
“Brooke, what’s the matter? What happened,” Harvey asked.
Between giggles, she responded, “Why would pajamas make you look beautiful in the morning? I mean I’m behind him 100%.”
“No you’re not,” Harvey said, comically deadpan. “That was not supportive at all.”
While Bobby’s answer was incorrect, Sophie and Voltaggio’s responses—retainer and hair bonnet—brought the team to victory, giving $25,000 to the charity of their choice, Paws Crossed Animal Rescue.
Fans were first clued into the couple’s upcoming Family Feud appearance back in May. On May 22, Bobby posted a picture of his team on the competition series’ set and wrote, “Can’t wait for you all to catch this episode of Celebrity Family Feud.”
Bobby and Williamson first publicly revealed their relationship in March.
In recent weeks, they were seen kissing at the U.S. Open and spending Williamson’s 47th birthday together in a video she shared of the celebration. They also both appear on the new season of BBQ Brawl and the new season of Bobby’s Triple Threat.
Flay has spoken about how their working relationship is affected by their personal relationship, telling PEOPLE in June, “I love working with Brooke. We have a lot in common. We’re very lucky. We’re both chefs. We both have kids. We’re both parents.”
Flay continued, saying Williamson has been his friend “forever.” “So it’s always been fun to kind of have her around because we’ve been friends, but now going forward, it’s a little bit different. So we’ll see what that brings,” he said, referring to being on the set of BBQ Brawl.
Looking ahead, fans are eager to see how the couple’s playful dynamic continues to unfold on screen. Their easy banter, mutual respect and shared passion for food have quickly made them a fan-favorite pairing within the Food Network universe.
