Brooklyn Beckham marked his 27th birthday with a lavish celebration organised by wife Nicola Peltz — but the special day also highlighted the deepening divide with his famous family.
The aspiring chef and influencer finally broke his Instagram silence on Wednesday evening, responding warmly to a heartfelt birthday tribute from Nicola. However, he appeared to overlook a series of public messages from his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, who had earlier attempted to reach out with affectionate birthday posts.

Nicola, 31, shared a romantic photo of herself and Brooklyn standing together in a room decorated with celebratory balloons. Alongside the image, she wrote a glowing tribute to her husband.
She wrote: Happy birthday baby… I hope all your dreams and wishes come true! You light up every room you walk into and anyone who knows you loves you… you’re the most special human and I love being your wife. I love you I love you I love you.
Brooklyn quickly responded in the comments with a simple but affectionate message: I love you baby girl.

The actress appeared to have planned an elaborate birthday surprise. She gifted Brooklyn a box filled with 21 personalised iced cakes, each decorated with the words “Happy Birthday Brooklyn”.
A mountain of carefully wrapped presents was also waiting for him, covered in Cloud 23 wrapping paper — a nod to Brooklyn’s hot sauce brand, which itself references the iconic number worn by his father David during his time at Real Madrid and LA Galaxy.
As Brooklyn prepared to eat the first cake, Nicola could be heard encouraging him to celebrate the moment, telling him to make a wish before adding warmly that she loved him and hoped all his wishes would come true.
But the joyful celebration came hours after his parents publicly reached out to him in what many saw as an emotional attempt at reconciliation.

David Beckham posted a nostalgic childhood photo of Brooklyn and used his long-standing nickname in a short but heartfelt message. He wrote: 27 today. Happy Birthday Bust. We love you.
Victoria Beckham soon followed with the same picture, writing: Happy birthday Brooklyn, we love you so much. She later shared another image of herself laughing with her son, adding a string of love heart emojis.
Brooklyn’s younger brother Romeo also joined the birthday tributes, posting a childhood throwback photo of the pair together, although he left the image without a caption.
His grandparents Ted and Hilary Beckham also marked the occasion by sharing family photos that included Nicola. They wrote: Happy birthday Brooklyn. Hope you have a fabulous day. With love from Grandad and Hilary.
Despite the outpouring of birthday messages from his family, Brooklyn has so far not acknowledged any of them publicly.
Reports suggest that while he remains estranged from his parents, he is still in regular contact with his grandfather Ted and step-grandmother Hilary.
The birthday snub comes just weeks after Brooklyn shocked fans by publishing a lengthy six-page Instagram statement in January, in which he accused his parents of trying to undermine his marriage to Nicola and prioritising their public image over family relationships.
Now living in the United States with his wife, Brooklyn appears determined to keep his distance — even as his family continue to extend what many see as repeated olive branches.
