The couple are on their honeymoon following their winter wedding last month
Adam Ramsay Peaty OBE and Holly Ramsay are making the most of their honeymoon in Mauritius after tying the knot last month. While Adam, 31, is best known for being one of Britain’s most decorated swimmers, it appears he also has talents in other departments. During their lavish getaway, both Holly and Adam took time out of their day to explore local markets, dine on some fresh food and take part in a cooking class.

Adam wasted no time in getting his hands dirty as he headed to the kitchen to learn how to cook the perfect Mauritian curry for his wife. Taking to Instagram, Holly shared a series of images from their day out, including Adam standing in the kitchen, echoing his famous father-in-law, Gordon.
“Morning at the local market and then straight to the kitchen to learn how to make a Mauritian curry, yes chef @adamramsaypeaty,” Holly captioned her upload. Her post, which has been liked thousands of times, was soon flooded with messages.
“50 BR in an apron, when? @adamramsaypeaty,” said, Kyle Sockwell, a content creator who posts about swimming, referencing Adam’s breast stroke skills. A fan added: “Who’s the better chef, your dad or Adam?!”

Adam and Holly got married at the end of December and jetted off to Mauritius, where the are staying in a five star resort. The secluded hotel is on a private peninsula along the coast and the nightly rates for the lavish hotel are an eye-watering £6,000.
In the months before the wedding, Adam and Holly were at the centre of drama, as a family feud broke out between them and Adam’s parents. The feud saw the couple break ties with the Peaty family and uninvite everyone but his sister Bethany from the wedding.
The Ramsay Peatys have been posting frequently from their honeymoon, which was delayed due to Adam’s prior swimming commitments. Holly has shared a series of photos from their trip, including a photo of the two cuddling beside a swimming.

The post was captioned: “Honeymoon so far featuring palm trees…” The resort the lovebirds are staying at was opened in 1975, and since then has welcomed guests including Nelson Mandela, Rihanna, George and Amal Clooney, and the Prince and Princess of Wales.
Villas on the estate have reportedly sold for as much as £10.1million, and guests can even arrive by helicopter. The lavish honeymoon was gifted to the couple by Holly’s parents, Gordon and Tana Ramsay.
Holly previously told British Vogue: “We’re going to Mauritius to just lie by the sea – that was our wedding present from my parents. I had to tell Adam we weren’t basing our honeymoon around a 25-metre pool…”
Holly’s parents, Gordon and Tana Ramsay were present at the wedding. Gordon was accused of making a pointed remark during his father of the bride speech, where he said Tana would be an “excellent mother” to both Holly and Adam.
