Katie Price’s husband Lee Andrews allegedly has to fork out a fine of £100,000 (AUS$188,000) to be released from jail in Dubai.
The latest twist in the bizarre saga claims Price, 48, has flown out to Dubai to see her husband and has visited the notorious Al Awir Central Prison several times since receiving confirmation he was there.

According to The Sun, it initially it looked like Andrews would be able to walk free if he paid a four-figure fine, but it later emerged the sum was six-figures after he spoke to Price.
“Katie is desperately trying to get Lee out of prison,” a source told the publication.
“Despite everything that’s gone on, Lee is her husband and Katie wants to get him out and get the answers she so badly needs.”
Price has been visiting him in jail and trying to get the paperwork sorted for his release, which now relies on paying the huge fine.
“He is confident he can get the cash and has assured Katie she won’t need to pay anything,” added the source.
Price has been keeping her followers updated on her husband since he first mysteriously disappeared last month.
Andrews is believed to be in jail over a civil matter, and the former glamour model confirmed that she is trying to get him out, although it’s been an exhausting process.

“I have got to go to courts, prison and the police station,” she said in a new video shared online.
“Not visiting him in prison but ‘the’ prison.
“Who knows what today will bring. I am so tired.”

The couple tied the knot in January in Dubai after just a week of meeting.
But in recent weeks their relationship has made international headlines, after Andrews disappeared for days.
Price had issued a desperate online plea to help find her husband after he failed to board a flight to the UK to see her more than two weeks ago.
The former reality star was left in the dark with his whereabouts, with no idea if he had been kidnapped, or in jail, with little information known. At one point Andrews was officially listed as a missing person.
Then on May 27, Price finally confirmed he had been located, claiming he was arrested on espionage charges and taken to Al Awir prison.
“I have found him – he is alive, and he is OK,” she told The Sun.
“I told him how worried I had been and told him I loved him.
“It was very rushed, but he said the authorities out there thought he was a spy. I don’t know much more than that right now.”

While it looks like Price is finally going to get answers from her husband about what happened, his release may not be as straightforward as paying the fine.
A source explained that even if he can pay the huge fine, it could take weeks for the paperwork to go through before he can leave.
Andrews is Price’s fourth husband, after Peter Andre (2005-2009), Alex Reid (2010-2012) and Kieran Hayler (2013-2021).
