Dancing On Ice star and wildlife champion Michaela Strachan has shared her joy after announcing she has become a grandmother for the second time this year.
The 59-year-old presenter revealed the news on Instagram, posting heartwarming photos of her newborn grandson Marley. She wrote: “My 2nd grandson! Little Marley Chevallier Manning arrived into the world last week. So adorably cute. So precious. Unbelievably proud of my step-daughter Jade and Dale. They are the most awesome parents already. Two grandchildren in five months. Feeling very blessed.”

Fans quickly flooded the comments with warm messages. One said: “Congratulations to a very special family. Enjoy every moment.” Another gushed: “He’s gorgeous!” while a third added: “It’s such a magical time!”
This is not the first time Michaela has embraced grandmotherhood this year. Back in May, her stepson Thomas and his partner Mikayla welcomed baby Huxley after a gruelling 55-hour labour. Michaela at the time admitted she was emotional as she wrote: “Today I became a granny! After an extremely stressful and exhausting labour – 55 hours – baby Huxley finally arrived. So proud of my future daughter-in-law and stepson. Proud new parents. Me and Granny Jacky were a wee bit emotional.”

Michaela has been in a relationship with South African cameraman Nick Chevallier since 2003. As a widower, Nick had three children – Jade and twins Sam and Tom – and Michaela fully embraced her role as stepmother. In 2006, the couple welcomed their own son, Ollie. Reflecting on motherhood, Michaela previously said: “When I was younger, I was so into my career that I didn’t think I would have a child. I am so glad that changed. There’s no love that can compare to what I feel for Ollie. And I adore being a mum.”
