Meghan Markle is reportedly wanting to âdistance herself from Prince Harryâs chaosâ, with the 44-year-old said to believe that she is âmore powerfulâ than her husband. According to insiders, Meghan is increasingly feeling that Harryâs presence is diverting attention from her own projects to controversies involving the Royal Family.
Harry and Meghan have been at loggerheads with the royals for many years, particularly since making the decision to step away from royal life in 2020. Royal expert Rob Shuter said on Maureen Callahanâs The Nerve podcast that Meghan believes that Harry is the one that is generating headlines with the royal drama.
The expert said: âMeghan has now decided that, my sources are telling me, she now believes that she is more powerful. Sheâs gonna make more money by stepping forward by herself, not with him.
âSheâs a problem, too. She hasnât quite got to that point, but she knows thereâs a problem with Harry.â
Meghan â who was not joined by Harry â recently stepped out in Switzerland to deliver a passionate address on the ill effects of social media on children.
In a piece for his substack, Mr Shuter also added: âWhenever Harry appears beside her, everything becomes about royal drama, and family feuds.
âMeghan wanted the spotlight on her work, not the chaos surrounding the Royal Family.â

The couple travelled together to Australia last month for a series of joint and separate work commitments.
Meghan stepped out at the Her Best Life event at the InterContinental in beachside Coogee on April 17.
After just 120 minutes at the gala, which was dubbed âMegstockâ due to its guest of honour, the former working royal was spotted departing the venue with her husband shortly after 7pm, with the couple then led away in the back of a luxury Range Rover.
