‘Bon Voyage, Judith’: Beloved Travel Presenter Judith Chalmers Dies Aged 90

Tributes are pouring in for television legend Judith Chalmers, the warm and familiar face of ITV’s Wish You Were Here…?, who has died peacefully at home at the age of 90, her family announced on Thursday.

She leaves behind her devoted husband Neil Durden-Smith, daughter Emma, son Mark Durden-Smith—also a television presenter—and six grandchildren.

“After living an extraordinary life that involved over 60 years in broadcasting and countless adventures all over the globe, Judy sadly passed away last night, surrounded by the family she loved so much,” her family said. “We will miss her greatly, but she leaves behind a giant suitcase of the happiest of memories.”
